Painting complete, finally!

Well I finally got my Sharkskinz painted. I learned that clear coat takes forever to dry and paint fumes are nasty, even with a good canister mask.

Putnam Park with NESBA Posted by Hello

Painting is harder than I thought!!!!!!!!!

Well, I decided to paint my new race bodywork myself. I have a compressor and an HVLP spray gun. My friend Royce from Central Alabama Motorsports gave me an old piece of bodywork to practice on. I must have had the pressures wrong because I got mixed results on my practice piece. Some of it is beautiful and some has krinkling. I'll do another sprayout tonight and try again on the practice piece. I want it to be perfect before I shoot those $800 sharkskinz.

Ed Bargy Roadracing School

In December 2004 I completed the Ed Bargy Motorcycle Roadracing two-day school at Talladega Grand Prix Raceway. I now have my WERA provisional novice license and I'm ready to go roadracing.

First race is January 5/6 at Talladega. I'm competing in the 600 classes and Senior Superbike for riders over 40 years of age.
